You know you’d like to make a change, but your thoughts are going in so many directions that you feel stuck. Sometimes, you sit down and try to figure it all out. But, it’s too much. So you grab a bag of chips and scroll through animal videos until the stress subsides.
At times, you feel so distracted that it’s hard to do everyday things. Small decisions, like what to order for lunch, make you agitated. You can’t focus at home; you’re unmotivated at work, and forget self care! How do you make time for anything when everything is falling apart?
It all builds up and you can’t help but feel like you’re failing… which just adds to the stuck feeling. It’s an overwhelming loop! You’d give anything to find your way out.

We all get stuck. Trying to dig yourself out of the stuck place can feel impossible. Our thoughts become circular and every attempt we make to *think* ourselves out of the problem just produces more questions.
To help understand why we’re feeling stuck and to know how to move forward, we often need to explore the feelings below the thoughts. In therapy together, we’ll use creative approaches to help expand your thinking, open up new perspectives, and become familiar with feelings and patterns that are contributing to feeling stuck.

Our first meeting
Our first appointment will last for about an hour. We’ll talk about your journey through life, what your every day looks like, and the obstacles you’re facing. We’ll hone in on what you’d like to explore and any goals you’d like to set.

Diving in
We will begin meeting weekly. Our sessions will incorporate talk therapy with creative, engaging approaches that can help you gain new perspectives on old patterns, build on your strengths, and let go of coping tools and beliefs that may no longer serve you.
