Understanding your ADHD.

You’re interested in gaining a deeper understanding of your ADHD! That’s fantastic, and your brain will thank you. Learning about ADHD and how it shows up for you is an empowering tool for thriving with ADHD.

Who: Understanding your ADHD is open to anyone 18+ who lives with ADHD. If you are interested in the group and have not been formally diagnosed with ADHD, please reach out: we can explore whether this group feels right for you. You do need to be located in Massachusetts or Florida to participate.

This group is a good fit for:

  • People with ADHD who feel like they have only a vague idea of what that means.

  • Anyone with ADHD who wants to better understand this journey that they’re on.

  • People who’ve heard the phrase “executive function” thrown around and really want to understand how all of that relates to their life.

  • People who want to connect with other people with ADHD.

What: In this group, you’ll learn about ADHD, explore how it shows up in your life, and connect with other people who experience and understand ADHD. In an ND-affirming atmosphere, we’ll focus on:

  • The unique qualities of ADHD brains

  • Executive functions, what they are and what they mean for each person. We’ll look at challenges and strengths.

  • What all of this looks like in everyday life.

This group is facilitated by Melissa Rocklen, a therapist who specializes in working with adults who have ADHD. She whole-heartedly believes that understanding both the strengths and challenges of your brain empowers you to create a world you feel good in.

When: We will meet virtually on Wednesday evenings from 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm. The group will run from April 30th - June 18, 2025.

Cost: Sliding scale pricing is available for this group: $240-$440 ($30-$55/group).

Other Helpful Things to Know:

  • This group will need at least 6 people to run and will be no larger than 12 people.

  • This group will make time for learning, self-reflection, and supporting each other.

  • There will be laughter. Anyone who has ADHD knows that it can be funny sometimes.

  • This group is supportive, educational, and therapeutic. BUT, it is not mental health treatment. If you’re curious about individual therapy, please reach out here.
